Wow, what a year!!

I don't even know where to begin to sum up this past year. This past year has been super crazy! In April, my dad got engaged to some lady from Australia. So now they are getting married July 1 and I'm going to be getting 4 new step brothers, 2 older and 2 younger. I honestly don't really know how I feel about all this..... I mean my life completely changed when my parents got divorced and that was kind of hard. But now that my dad is getting remarried, it's just kind of weird I don't really know how to explain it except to say it's weird.

Then in June, Adam went away to Florida for a competition for PBL. The whole time he was gone went by so slow and I was really sad because he was going to be gone for my birthday and all my family was going to be working so I was going to be alone. Then my soon to be step mother came up with the idea that my sister, brother, and I should come up to Bountiful and get our nails done since my birthday was only 2 days before her and my dad got married. So I woke up on my birthday, not really feeling good or looking forward to my birthday because my boyfriend was gone and everyone I wanted to be with was gone or busy. But I got ready, my little sister did my hair and then I opened my presents from my mom, brother, and sister. They got me a cute new dress and pair of shoes, and earring to wear that day so I felt cute and happy since it was my 22 birthday. After I opened my presents I drove up to Bountiful not feeling great, partly because the day before I had just gotten in an accident at work and on the way home from that got in a car accident so it wasn't a very good day to say the least. So I was driving to Bountiful to meet my new family and get our nails done for the wedding. I was nervous also because I'm shy when I don't know people and I get nervous because I want to make a good impression.

So As soon as we got to Annie (step mother's) house, we dropped my little brother off to be watched by our new older brother Tulsa and to hang out with our new younger brothers Alex and Jono. Then we left and went and got our nails done, we got manicures and pedicures which was really relaxing and fun. It also let Ariel and I get to know our new family a little more. We probably took like 2 hours to get our nails done but it was fun and felt good. Then after that we went to Cafe Rio which is one of my favorite places to eat and got lunch since we were all starving. But once we got our lunch, I all the sudden felt like I was going to throw up but of course I didn't tell anyone because I was to embarrassed so I did my best to eat some of my salad. But my sister could see right through me and when I went to the bathroom she followed me and so I told her that  I felt like crap and I just wanted to go home and go to bed.

But she said that I couldn't and that after we ate lunch we were going shoe shopping. So I pretended that I felt better and went back out. Then we left and went for shoe shopping for what felt like forever! But I did get 2 pairs of very cute and very much needed sandals and it was fun. I was just glad when we finally headed back to Annie's house. I just wanted to go lay down so bad but that didn't happen. It was weird because when I walked into the house my little brother Tristan (my real brother) saw me said hi and then booked down stairs which I thought was weird but didn't think to much about it. Then Ariel insisted that we go up to the Bountiful Temple (my favorite temple) which is just up the street from Annie's house and go take a walk and take pictures to send to Adam since I actually looked cute and girly. To this I kept protesting that I was tired and didn't feel good and I didn't want to. But if you know my sister or any karr we are stubborn and would not let up so I gave in and drove us up to the temple.
