Spring Break (part 2)

So the last time that I wrote I told you how we had just gotten to California and were going to go to Disneyland the next day. So we woke up early the next morning and got ready to go to Disneyland, I was so excited to go, I seriously was like a little kid. When we were at the gates, I couldn't wait to get in and once we did get in it was like a dream was finally comin true kind of haha cuz we were finally there. The first ride that we went on was space mountain and I loved it! But my little brother on the other hand....well he's kind of a drama king and he hated it and ya it was bad when we got off. Than by 9:30 in the morning he was ready to go home and just stay in the hotel room and watch ncis. We had only been in Disneyland for 2 hours, this made us a little worried about how the rest of the week was going to go.

Luckily at this time we remembered that we had our pass that we came to call at the end of the week our "Magic Pass." Since Tristan is autistic we had a pass that let us get to the front of the lines, this pass honestly saved our bums the whole week. So we used this pass to be able to ride the rides so that Tristan would not have his little melt downs. We went on so many rides the whole week we were there. Tristan's favorite ride was Pirates of Carribean and Thunder Mountain. But mine was screamin and probably all the other rides haha.

The week went by really quick but also lasted a long time also. It was nice to be able to talk to Adam still while I was there. Cuz to be honest I missed him a lot haha surprise surprise. But it was such a fun trip, the second to last day that we were in California. My family and I went to Newport beach, it was alot of fun the water was freezing though. I had a lot of fun though, I wish we could have stayed a little longer. The last night that we spent in Disneyland we went and saw the World of Color show, it was so awesome I loved it. Than we stayed in Disneyland until midnight. It was so fun because we got to go on all of our favorite rides again before we left, by the time we left my sister and I went on screamin 5 times and went on all of our other favortie rides quite a bit. We're leaving tomorrow and I'm sad and happy to leave, I just hope to be able to come back again soon. Oh we had breakfast with Minnie and her friends this morning, it was fun and so yummy! Disneyland is awesome and so much fun!!!!

Spring Break (part 1)

It's finally spring break!!!! I honestly did not thing this day would come forever, we have had this trip to California/Disneyland planned forever and the best part is my little brother had no idea that we were going anywhere! We left on a Saturday which actually is early for spring break so my sister and I are missing 2 days of school but who cares lol. We woke up and quickly got ready and than woke up my little brother and told him that we were going to just go get donuts and go on a breakfast picnic haha and he actually believe us crazy little kid. Than once we got his Krispy Kreme Donuts we told him past of the real plan.

We told him that we were going to stay at a hotel in Nevada, we didn't even tell him where in Nevada so that he wouldn't suspect anything haha. On our way to Nevada, we stopped in Scipio, Utah to get some gas. When we were about to get back on the freeway, we saw that there was a petting zoo and decided to stop for a minute. The main reason why we decided to stop though was because we saw a baby zebra haha. Seeing this made us so excited that we wanted to go pet it and get pictures with it so we did. We are so silly sometimes once we spent probably a half hour at the petting zoo we finally got back on the freeway to get to our hotel in Primm, Nevada.

We made a couple of other stops before we finally got to our hotel. Once we got to our hotel, we were so happy we had been in the cramped little car for a little to long. Our hotel was pretty cool because it had a roller coaster and a log flume in it. So once we checked in and got settled in our room, we decided to go ride the rides. Bad idea let me just tell you, we can at least say that we have been on these rides now but they were crazy. Especially the roller coaster, it was so jerky you thought you might die on it haha. Once we went on the rides we went and got dinner and went back to our room. We all went to bed kind of early because we were tired and we had to get up kind of early in the morning.

The next day we got up, packed our stuff back up and checked out of our room. We than ate breakfast in the car while I started driving to Callifornia. At this time my little brother still has no idea where we are going really, he thought that we were just going to drive and just stop at some random place and stay there for a week haha. Along the way to our next hotel and the one we will be in for the next week we again made a few potty breaks and ate. When we were only a block a way from our hotel, we stopped at a gas station to through Tristan off a little bit because some how we had passed tons of Disneyland signs and we was just in his own little world and didn't notice them.

So we stopped at the gas station and we told him that we were going to drive for a little long (probably an hour) and then we would stop for the day. Than we started driving a again and we right out side of our hotel when Tristan looked over and saw the enterance to Disneyland. At this moment he about died, he was excited and couldn't believe that we were actually going to spend the week at Disneyland. It was a dream come true as he put it, he was so happy. Which made my sister, mom, and me so happy because we have been keeping this secret from him and planning this for months! We are finally in California and staying right across the street from Disneyland literally! Yay, I'm so excited I've never been here before. So as I've said before it's 2011, it's a new year let the new adventures begin. Well I better post this and get ready for bed since I have to get up early in the morning, even though I don't think I'll be able to sleep tonight haha, I'm such a little kid! :) I'm so excited, well I'll keep you updated. :)

Busy couple of weeks

Wow, I can't believe that it's already March these past couple of weeks have been super busy, especially the weekends. These past couple of weekends Adam and I have been hanging out with a few of his friends which has been fun. One day we went bowling and laser tagging which was so much fun! Than another day we went hot tubbing and watched a movie. Than last Sunday we had scripture study with his friends, it was so much fun I loved it!

Than school has also been keeping me super busy because I've had to get a head on some of my homework, especially for my math class. Because spring break is coming up and for spring break I'm going to California and Disneyland with my family.But we are actually living a little before it starts so I had to turn in my homework early. Also my math 1050 class just started and it is so stinking hard! I'm kind of over my head in this class and I'm working my bum off. But honestly right now I'm just hoping I can pass this class with a C, if I can do that than I'm finally finished with math forever, yay haha!

Than since I was leaving for a week Adam and I hung out for a little bit on Friday which was a lot of fun. We made a blanket and just watched a movie and hung out with my little sister, it was fun. These past few weeks have been super busy like I said before but oh well they have also been a fun past few weeks also.

First Jazz Game (Valentines Present)

Oh my so if you remember, I talked about earlier how Adam got me Jazz vs Celtics basketball tickets for Valentines. Well the game was last night Feb. 28 and I couldn't wait for yesterday to come because I was so excited to go to the game. When I woke up yesterday morning I didn't think 5 pm could come fast enough haha because I couldn't wait. Luckily I had school and errands to run to help the day go by faster. One of those errands I ran was I went and bought a Boston Celtics shirt. Once my errands were finished I decided to go to my mom's and take a nap and get ready for the game. My little sister being the cutie that she is was like, "Hey this is just an extension of your Valentines so I'm going to do your hair for you so that you look cute. " Haha she's funny and she did help me get ready.

Then at 5:15 Adam came and picked me up so that we could go to the game. Once we got to the Delta Center for the game we parked and went in and went and ate dinner from a place like Cafe Rio that was inside the Delta Center. We than went to our seats and waited for the game to start. Once the game started, it was so awesome and it was surprisingly a pretty close game the whole time. Even though Adam was cheering for the Jazz and I was cheering for the Celtics, we had a lot of fun, The Celtics won the game which made me so happy haha and I teased Adam about it a little bit haha. But I have to say that this was the best Valentine's present, I loved it so much and we had so much fun together!!!! :)

It's a Miracle!

So this week has been pretty busy like always haha. Anyways it was a pretty good week also, I did a presentation in my health class and I got a 100 on it phew, I was pretty nervous for it. But what made this week probably the best and what was probably a huge miracle right now was I took my math 1010 final on Thursday. And well let's just say I didn't really sleep the night before because I was so stressed about this final and even while taking the final I was worried about passing it.

But once I finished the test, I kind of just pushed it out of my mind because I just couldn't think about it anymore because there wasn't really anything I could do about it now. Then I woke up on Friday to an email from my professor, I was scared to read the e-mail because I thought she was telling me that I had failed the class. But I opened it and in the e-mail, she said that I had gotten an 88 percent on my final, when I saw this I seriously thought I was going to pass out because I couldn't believe I had done so well on the final for that class.

Than I read further into the e-mail and found out that I had actually gotten a 91% in the class which is an A-. At this point I had to sit down because I was going to pass out, I couldn't believe it I had actually passed this class and not only did I pass, I got an A in the class. I was so happy that I had passed, I had not gotten an A in a math class since high school. And with passing this class that means that I'm just another step closer to getting my associates degree finally, so not starting tomorrow at 7 am I start my last math class yay!!!! It's seriously a miracle right now that I passed but it's about time I've now taken that class 3 times haha.

But I don't know what it is this semester but I've just really been motivated again to do really good in school and to finally finish. Like I said I don't know what it is but I'm liking this new motivation, it's like I got a second wind and I can now finally see the end in sight. I'm not going to lie, I'm pretty proud of my self this semester, I'm doing really good and getting all A's in my classes at the moment and I'm not as stressed as I used to be because things are going good. It's really nice and I really like feeling like this haha

Ok, I think I may have an idea of why I'm wanting to do so well in school again but hey we'll see I guess if I'm right haha. It's also been a good week because I've gotten to spend time with Adam which is always fun. :) He really is a great guy!!!!

Valentine's Day!

Wow, so I've never been one that actually liked Valentine's Day. I don't know if it because I never really was dating anyone before or if I just didn't like it because I thought it was a stupid holiday. But for some reason this year, I was actually excited for it. Ok, it wasn't for some reason, it's because I'm dating an amazing guy that I got to spend Valentine's Day with.

I've been looking forward to it because I was excited to give Adam his present and I was making dinner for him for the first time, so I was excited about that also. As Valentine's got closer though, I was getting a little nervous about making dinner for him because his family are all amazing cooks and he knows how to cook really well also. So I was nervous that I was going to ruin dinner or something. But once Valentine's finally got here yesterday everything seemed like it was going to go ok.

We were going to eat at my mom's house because my whole family was going to be gone, so we would able to enjoy Valentine's just him and me. So I had decided to make Parmesean chicken and a salad for dinner, than a chocolate pudding cake with chocolate covered strawberries on top of the cake. Then for his actual gift, I made him a Jazz fleece blanket, I got him a LeBron James shirt, a San Fransico 49ers toothbrush (it was just funny and it's his favorite football team), then I got him butterfingers and pretzel m&m's because those are his favorite treats. I couldn't wait for 7 pm to come so that he would come over and we could be together.

I got off work at 5 last night and raced to my mom's house to start making dinner and actually get myself ready at the same time. Thank goodness my mom and sister were home because they helped me clean the house and set up the table to look all cute and fancy. Then while I was getting ready and Adam was supposed to be here in 15 minutes my mom comes up to me and tells me that my brother now has a migraine and so they aren't going to be leaving but she reassured me that they would just stay downstairs and not bother us. Than next thing I know my sister decides to spend the night at home. At this point I started to stress/freak out a little bit because this is not how I planned for things to be, I thought it would be just a quiet peaceful night but with my family all home that was not going to be possible.

So I quickly finished getting ready with only seconds to spare before Adam came over. Once he got here things went pretty ok though. I opened the door to find him holding a bouquet of yellow roses for me (my favorite color of roses)! I immediately gave him a huge hug and told him thank you. Then the next thing I know he hands me a bag of chocolate covered cinnamon bears which I love and a folded up piece of paper. So I quickly went a put the flowers in a water in a vase. Then Adam was like open the paper so I did, I just about passed out when I opened it. It was tickets to the Utah Jazz vs the Boston Celtics basketball game that I've been wanting to go to, I was so freaking happy.

Then it was his turn to open his present. He was so happy when he saw the t-shirt and the blanket and laughed when he saw the toothbrush, like I knew he would. I was so happy that he liked his gift, I had been looking forward to giving it to him for a long time. Then we had dinner, since my sister was home she decided that she wanted to be out waitress and serve us so she did. Which I'm not going to lie was kind of nice to be served lol. So Adam and I sat there eating our dinner and just talking, it was so nice. And I got his approval on my cooking which I was so happy about. I think I had the biggest smile on my face when he told me that dinner was really good and that he liked it and approved. I was so nervous to cook for him.

After dinner we were really full, so we held off on dessert for a little bit so Adam and I decided to watch a video. We went on redbox.com to find the movie Valentine's Day, we thought it was good since it was that holiday lol. We found it and the closest one was in Pleasant Grove so we decided that it wasn't that far away so we would just drive there and get it. So we start driving and realize neither one of us has our debit cards with us so we turn around but before going back to my house we stop at his parents house. It was fun, I love his family we stayed there for a few minutes and just talked them and then went home and got my debit card. We then drove to Pleasant Grove to get the movie just to find out the machine wasn't working. Oh course, that's just our luck.

So on the way home Adam and I were talkin and I mentioned, I wonder if your parents have the movie. So Adam called up his family and come to find out that they did have the movie haha. Why we didn't think of asking them before I don't know but we didn't. So we went to his parents house again and grabbed the movie and then went home and watched Valentine's Day. Before he left Adam decided that he wanted to tickle me to death before he left so he did. It was pretty funny and he now has come up for different names for my laughs/ ( I didn't know I had different laughs but apparently I do, who knew).

Then we looked at the time and say that it was 1:00 am. So Adam went home since we both have school and work in the morning. Like I said I have never liked Valentine's Day before but Adam made this Valentine's awesome and so much fun! :)

Fun few weekends

So these past few weekends have been really bust but fun at the same time. I've had Adam's birthday, basketball games, homework, just hanging out with my family, Adam's family, and Chelsea's birthday. It's been so much fun, I love how we've been doing tons of things. Like yesterday, I was super busy.

I had to go finish getting Adam's valentine's present so that I could finish making it. Then I came home and quickly got ready because Adam had bought us tickets to go see the BYU vs Utah basketball game which was so much fun! (Did I mention I have an awesome boyfriend, well if I didn't I'm saying it now. He's awesome and such a sweet heart!!! :) ) After the game, we went back to his place for a few minutes and than we went to dinner at Texas Roadhouse for his little sister Chelsea's birthday which was so much fun.

I love Adam's family so much, they are just so fun to hang out with and talk to. Then after dinner Adam and I decided to go see a movie, so we did that also. By the time I got home it was like 12:30 am. So unlike my plan to go to bed early, I was up late. But it was so worth it, I had so much fun and I was with a bunch of great people that I honestly love so much!!! :)

That's just a little update on what has been going on this past little bit. I'm having a great time and am loving life! Oh p.s. the picture above is a picture from dinner last night. Aren't we all so cute! :)
